Zen Encounters - Yin Chua's first solo exhibition

I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to have my first solo show. It is something I had dreamed of for a long time and am very thankful that it had finally came to fruition.

简 Zen Encounters, a debut solo exhibition by Yin Chua is presented by Y Art Projects in collaboration with Art Seasons and Coinlectibles. 11 August - 17 September 2023.

I’ll be at the gallery during the following events.

VIP Opening Night: 11 August 2023, Friday, 6-9pm

Artist Talk: 19 August 2023, Saturday, 2pm

Meditation and Slow Looking with Art: 2 September 2023, 2pm and

16th September 2023, 3pm

During the Meditation and Slow Looking event, Yin Chua will lead a short guided meditation to help you get more relax, and into a deeper state of mind. We will focus on compassion on the self. Take this moment to breath and empty your mind.

We will then begin our slow looking at the artworks.

How to do Slow Looking:

Pick the artwork or artworks that speaks to you. Take your time to look at the art, observe the details by moving closer. How do you feel?

Now move back further and take the whole work in. How do you feel now?
